Water Conservation - we are reviewing bids to improve our slope and park irrigation system to reduce water use and take advantage of rebates from the water company. Rolling Hills Signs - The signs have been removed from Westfield & Glennrock due to theft of most of the letters and to prevent further damage to the monument walls. This affects many communities in Laguna Niguel, not just ours. We are reviewing alternative signage that's less prone to theft.
Hillsboro Gate - Contracts are very close to being finalized to replace these gates that were vandalized. Work is expected to start in the next few weeks as plans and permits are approved and access through this gate may be restricted during construction. A strong emphasis on security, accessibility, reliability and appearance is being taken into consideration in the new design with wider openings, better lighting, decorative pavers and more reliable and quieter mechanicals.
New Pedestrian Gate - A gate has been installed on the pedestrian walkway leading to the park from Crown Valley Pkwy and Greenfield. Use the same homeowner access number as the main gates. The gate was put in place to reduce the non-resident use of the park that was contributing to late night noise and vandalism.
RATS - The rodent population in Rolling Hills has increased recently. If you find that rats and mice have invaded your space, Orange County Vector control will come to your home, do an analysis, make recomendations and set up bait stations where needed. This service is at no cost to the homeowner. For more information, check their website at http://www.ocvcd.org/ . In addition, the board is reviewing its rodent control processes to see where it can be improved.
Board Meetings
The Rolling Hills Board of Directors meetings are held on the 2nd Wednesday of every month at PCM. The Homeowner Forum will begin at 6:00PM.
All homeowners are welcome and encouraged to attend.
Architectural Meeting
The Architectural meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of each month at the pool or member house.
